5 x Travel through music

Travel through music:Although travel bans are in place and people spend most of their time at home, they dream of their last vacation or some distant place they've always wanted to travel to. To enjoy the travel experience for a while, we've put together five countries and their music. In this way everyone can bring the rhythm of distant countries and cultures within their own four walls. Sporting activities are also provided with samba, Bollywood dance or salsa.

India:Bollywood, spirituality and tradition

India is a huge country and the musical repertoire is certainly not inferior to this size. Indian music is shaped by very different influences:from modern Bollywood to traditional melodies such as bhajans, the religious folk songs in Hinduism. Believers sing of their love for God in simple, repetitive terms. In India, music and movement are closely linked. Here everyone can let the rhythm in their blood run free and inject joy into their own four walls.

New Orleans:A City of Music

New Orleans is a colorful, multicultural city and is therefore probably the origin of musical styles such as blues and jazz. But it is also home to styles of music such as gospel and cajun, a folk music dating back to French immigrants. You can travel through New Orleans in your mind – through the music with the catchy rhythms – and explore the incredible personality and history of the city.

Cuba:an incomparable mix

Cuba is a labyrinth of rhythms and melodies:those interested can delve into its Afro-Caribbean roots through the guaguancó, one of three styles of Cuban rumba – alongside Yambú and Columbia. Or they get lost among the thousands of instruments that play together in a salsa. Just close your eyes, feel the rhythm and dance.

England:from guitar to drums

England is like an electric guitar, like rebellion and excitement, in short, like rock'n'roll! Welcome to the Mecca of Rock, on the streets of Liverpool and London, where young artists have experienced the scent of freedom for decades. Be it The Beatles, Elton John or Pink Floyd – this playlist joins one great English rock classic after another.

Brazil:center of joie de vivre

To feel the drums of the festive streets of Rio and experience the uniqueness of bossa nova, a Brazilian music and dance style, Brazilian fans enter a universe of colors to the rhythm of samba. Because Brazil is more than just a country, it is a cosmopolitan carnival. Anyone can fill their apartment with life by letting the fantastic Brazilian melodies resound in their own four walls.
