The wind will take me… to the Morocco Windsurf World Cup 2018

One day you go to Essaouira to attend the windsurfing world cup, and when you go there, you don't really know what to expect, apart from boards and wind... Everyone is there, riders and riders from all over the world, the sun, the waves of the mythical spot of Moulay Bouzerktoune, and the public, a mixture of enthusiasts and curious people. On a rough sea (honestly I wouldn't even slip my toe there), the competitors compete for several days offering us a breathtaking spectacle! They fly and float at the same time, twirling their windsurfers in this mad broth like hilarious kids. All the secret of this sport is there, these incredible champions have fun! It's a fun competition!

A national champion who makes his country proud

A hell of a man with a cute smile is on all fronts. In the water he is dazzling, on the ground he is disconcertingly available and kind. His name is Boujmaa Guilloul, he is a windsurfing superstar, a legend in Essaouira. The child of the country is the pride of Morocco and has succeeded in importing the World Cup on its land, finally on its sea... Boujmaa introduces me to the discipline (well, in real life I struggle, but he is so brilliant that I I feel like I'm almost a pro) and in mind (I love it, and I agree). I leave having seen the beautiful, the crazy, the grandiose. But I also leave completely in love with this country, this city and its energy. And with a few extra pounds, because despite my sporting initiation, I resisted the local culinary temptation relatively little! Congratulations and thank you to all our champions!

Long live the Morocco Windsurf World Cup 2018,

Long live Morocco,

Long live Essaouira,

Long live Capuccino, my touchy camel!
