In Wales, it is possible to stay in a library

Gladstone's Library, a library built in 1895 in Hawarden (Wales), offers visitors a rather unique experience:spending a stay, including the night, in the premises. What a dream! Especially since the place is beautiful. The building has 26 comfortable rooms to make the most of this little expedition. And failing to sleep in the middle of books, the walls of the rooms of Gladstone's Library are decorated with fake books. We could see ourselves there sipping a tea, a work in hand (how cliché?)!

Thousands of books and journals

Obviously the environment is nice (English countryside, old bricks, great building…) but the idea is also to take advantage of all the books and newspapers that are in the area. The collection being rich with 250,000 books (if we don't find our happiness with that…), it would be silly to miss it. In addition, residents have the advantage of being able to spend more time in the bookstore than the others. They are allowed to stay there from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. while the library is closed to the public after 5 p.m. This new kind of hotel also has a restaurant, the Food of Thought, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. And for those who couldn't do without the internet even surrounded by thousands of books, Wi-Fi access is free in the rooms. Finally, to spoil nothing, the building is located next to a charming little village, in case you want to clear your mind a bit. A very nice concept all in all!
