Wellness resorts in Thailand; to completely relax

Thailand has become the spa destination of the world. Not surprising, because a Thai massage is also highly regarded in the Netherlands. Let alone that you can undergo it in one of the luxury wellness resorts in Thailand itself below!

Siam Opium Spa in Thailand

De Siam – Opium Spa is the only luxurious wellness center in the historic Dusit district in Bangkok Thailand. Anyone looking to combine Bangkok's beautiful palaces, temples, local markets and fascinating monuments with a relaxing luxury vacation has come to the right place. Even your children can get acquainted with Thai culture and massages in this wellness resort!

Anantara Hua Hin Resort and Spa

The Anantara Hua Hin Resort and Spa is located in Hua Hin (one of Thailand's most popular resorts). Behind the doors you imagine yourself in a Thai village, overlooking a lagoon filled with lotuses. The spa is the most impressive space of this wellness resort in Thailand. Hidden behind high walls and reached via a long wooden walkway, are eight treatment rooms and a huge open-air bath where a variety of world-class massages can be enjoyed. Just reading about it completely relaxes me 😉 .

I can imagine that a whole holiday in one of these wellness resorts in Thailand is a bit too much of a good thing, but you can also just go for 2 or 3 days. Not a bad idea at all during your tour.

Wellness resort Barai in Thailand

In addition to the above wellness resort, there is another luxury wellness resort in Hua Hinm Thailand; The Barai. With eighteen remarkable wellness areas and eight exclusive spa suites, you will find this wellness resort on more than 4.5 hectares of beach. Great for relaxing together and escaping the normal hectic life. Just nothing at all. This resort has already received about 20 awards and that is not without reason.

Panpuri Wellness in Bangkok

This resort is located in Bangkok's liveliest area, Ratchaprasong. The beautiful view of Bangkok serves as a background for the extensive wellness offer at Panpuri Wellness. Here one can completely relax in the warm, therapeutic waters of the  hot springs  which are rich in minerals and moisturize the skin. This, in combination with a facial treatment, completes the wellness treatment. Don't expect a vast park or beach here…

Anantara Siam

Another highlight in Bangkok is the Anantara Siam hotel. The unbeatable location goes hand in hand with iconic design and gracious hospitality. High ceilings with chandeliers, silk murals and lush gardens create a calming feeling in the bustling capital. The Bangkok Skytrain is only moments away so explore the city and return for world-class dining and relaxation at Anantara Spa. The perfect combination if you ask us.

The Royal Orchid Sheraton

On the banks of the Chao Phraya River, The Royal Orchid Sheraton, a wellness resort in Thailand, boasts innovative treatments that promise to enhance health and beauty. The hotel owes its five stars to the luxurious suites with marble bathrooms and silky soft bedding.

The hotel also features four restaurants:world cuisine, Italian, grill and Thai. Free shuttle boats take you to the other side of the river where the impressive Icon Siam shopping center is located.

Chiva-Som

The internationally recognized wellness resort Chiva-Som is back. After months of renovation, the resort on Hua Hin's white sand coast is ready to welcome guests again. Look forward to an extensive range of excellent health, fitness and spa facilities led by a team of recognized experts in a refreshing interior. The restaurant Taste of Siam has also been renovated, you can dine here with a sea view whatever the weather.

Do you need a visa for Thailand or not?

Regardless of what you're going to do… if you're staying in Thailand for more than 30 days, you'll need a visa. You can apply for such a visa here. If you stay less long, you can receive visa-free access for a maximum of 30 days at the airport.

But if you are going to make an extensive tour in Thailand and also relax with wellness, then 30 days will probably not be enough and we recommend that you leave for Thailand well prepared. So with visa 😉 .

The exceptional facilities, the unparalleled Thai massage therapists and the soothing environment of the numerous wellness resorts make us want to get on the plane right away. Relax and recharge your batteries during a wellness in Thailand. Would you like to know more about these wellness resorts? Check the Thailand Tourism website.
